Ocnele Mari Saltworks – Salina Ocnele Mari
I recently found out on my good friends’ the White Wolves forum that a new saltwork has been open for tourists. It’s located near Ramnicu Valcea, in Ocnele Mari and has only opened in September 2009! Being the action man that you all know me to be, I visited two days after hearing about it. Here’s a short photo tour:

And I promise you, there are more things to see / do inside (football court, basketball court, church, ‘event center’, shop, art gallery, etc. The surface is around 10 000 m (1 ha!). The place has a certain charm, so Thank you NORO for this info !

Imi pare foarte bine ca ocnasii s-au gandit sa faca asa ceva, si imi pare si mai bine ca stau foarte aproape de mina si pot sa o vizitez foarte des. Foarte frumoase pozele, succes in contiunare.

este mult mai frumos decat in aceste imagini, nu poti surprinde linistea aerul si racoarea din salina intr-o poza. Este extraordinar ce s-a facut in aceasta salina, am numai cuvinte de lauda.
