Buzau – Izvoranu Offroad

Saturday June 28th I took a trip together with 3 other Patrol drivers to Buzau, to watch the trial of the Buzau Extreme Adventure Cup. Since the trial was scheduled to start at 15:00 we decided to go for some offroad of our own 🙂

Here’s a movie that does not accurately depict how bad the portion was: laterla incline, mud, steep, narrow. Had we not had wheel spacers and negative ET wheels, we could never have made it…

Be sure to check the other videos from the same guy too!

Unfortunately my camera has benn dropped into a ditch of water and mud, so no more pictures from new events for some time now 😦

Luckily, I still have tons of photos taken in previous trips that  I still need to publish 🙂

PS: I got some more videos (PLEASE! watch WITHOUT sound!)

  1. Sorry for your camera, flash and L-lens. What’s next ? I suppose you’ll stick to canon since you still have some lenses. Though after such a big loss you might consider changing systems and selling the remaining lenses.

  2. All is not lost yet!
As you know, I am a big optimist.
Everything is at the canon service, being taken care of.
They could not promise anything given the situation of the equipment, but they did say there were some chances…

    NOW WE WAIT …

I still have a 3 other lenses and macro rings, and if they save the lens (should be water proof as any L / it’s not exactly dust proof however) then it’s obvious I stick to canon…

PS: the engineer at canon service was almost crying when he saw the mess 😦

  3. have a small shovel …??? Hand it over! this is a replica of a famous movie …??? 🙂

    1. LOL.
I think we ALL could turn THIS into a famous movie 🙂

PS: everybody is busting my balls about the “little shovel” 🙂
